MSI (Micro-Star International) was founded in 1986 in Taiwan by Joseph Hsu, Jeans Huang, Frank Lin, Kenny Yu, and Henry Lu, a group of engineers with a vision to create innovative, high-quality computer hardware. Initially focused on motherboards and add-on cards, MSI quickly built a reputation for reliability and performance.
